This section covers important information relevant to applying to the program. Please read and follow the guidelines carefully.
(1) First review the program's website and materials in detail. Contact us via phone for an unofficial assessment of your qualifications and answers to all your questions. Before submitting your application, make sure that the CCIP program suits you. Do not apply to the program if you haven't spoken with and gained permission from your parents about the details and costs involved.
(2) Before submitting your complete application, first submit the editable version of the forms and resume to ccip@fusia.net for review and comments.
(3) The application and preparation process might be cumbersome but it has always been an effective way to prepare the students for their internship. Don't apply to the program if you can't keep up, are too busy with your school work or can't meet the deadlines.
(4) The program doesn't only assess students based on their qualifications or how well they present themselves during the phone interview. The daily interactions between the students and us play a crucial role in selection, placement and future recognition (e.g. whether or not you will receive a recommendation letter from the program). Below indicates a few examples:
- How often a student checks his/her email (basic professional skills)
- How well a student reads/replies to emails (basic professional skills)
- A student's submission of the required materials on-time (being considerate)
- How a student writes and formats his/her resume (computer and writing skills)
- A student's ability to send reasonably sized files in required formats (attention to detail)
- How natural a student sounds in his/her interview (presentation skills)
- Whether or not a student makes the effort to prepare (responsibility)
- How well a student handles instructions (attention to detail)
- How well a student handles awkward situations (situational management)
- How well a student receives criticism (maturity)
- How comfortable and natural a student talks (presentation skills)
(5) The program deals with a large volume of emails. Please write your email subject header according to your assigned format. Capitalize your last name and be sensitive to spacing. Refer to the student panel for your assigned subject header. Do not add remarks to or alter your assigned subject header.
FA2085: St/CHAN, Hoi Yu Jennifer

(9) If you do not have a scanner, use a camera (use flash for clearer images). Know how to print a file in a reasonably sized PDF document. Do not send us a simple PDF file over 1 MB.
(10) You may not need to submit official transcripts. Unofficial
transcript(s) and screen shots may be acceptable.
(11) After you have submitted your application, you should receive a confirmation email from us within 1-2 business days. If not or if you don't hear from us for an interview, call us.
