Student Advisory Board (SAB) - An Overview
2010 Cross-Cultural Internship Program (CCIP Summer/New York)

The program aims to help students make the most of their cross-cultural professional experience, in particular, developing the necessary skills, knowledge, perspectives and mindset to become a well-rounded professional in the global economy.

The Student Advisory Board (SAB) was created to make students an integral part to this idea. It provides a channel for students to work together, get involved, and most importantly, take control of outcomes and gain success through their experiences.

The board is comprised of three teams: the Core Team, the Editorial Team and the Implementation Team., and meets on a weekly basis. Student participants of the program are welcome to join one or more of the teams. For more, email ccip@fusia.net.

Mission
- Making the most of the students' experiences
- Providing a channel for students to take charge of their experiences
- Helping students become well-rounded

Functions
- Serving as a liaison between the program and other students
- Getting involved in planning and execution
- Helping each other gain from the internship experience
- Providing suggestions on ways to improve the program
- Promoting the concept of the program
- Helping to prevent or resolve issues

Participation
- Voluntary:Only participate if you really want to
- Diversified: Ideally at least one representative from each school
- Involvement: Meet once a week
- Input: Ideally each member takes on one or more responsibilities
