BridgeUSA Exchange Visitor Program (J-1 visa) allows FUSIA as a State-Department designated sponsor to bring qualified foreign nationals to intern or be trained in the United States.
Host organization (“host” or “host company”) refers to a US-based business and governmental or non-governmental entity that acts on behalf of the designated sponsor in the conduct of the sponsor’s BridgeUSA (J-1 visa) program pursuant to an executed written agreement between the two parties.
The BridgeUSA (J-1 visa) Exchange Visitor Program (EVP) opens the door to global opportunities, introduces diverse perspective and new ideas, enhances creativity and innovation, and provides meaningful experience and learning opportunities for both the participants and their hosts.

To apply, have the Main Program Supervisor (MPS/POC) create an online account via and then sign in to the Host Application panel to complete Part A (Host Profile), Part B (sites of Activity), Part C (Supervisors), and Part D Form DS-7002. While the MPS completes the Host Application panel, their prospective participants should simultaneously complete their Participant Application panels.
