Pursuant to 22 CFR Part 62.22(g)(4), site visitation is required for hosts that have not previously participated successfully in the sponsor’s training and internship programs and that have fewer than 25 employees or less than three million dollars in annual revenue. Placements at academic institutions or at federal, state, or local government offices are specifically excluded from this requirement.
