2009-07-24 - Taking place annually in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, the 19th Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York is a multicultural sporting event attracting thousands of spectators and team participants every year. This year, FUSIA Communications, a long-time supporter and a creative sponsor of the event, will join the Flushing YMCA in promoting well-being in mind, spirit, and body by hosting an array of activities and demonstrations.
Activities include free health screening, give-a-ways, arts and crafts, raffles and drawings. Prizes of the raffles include a one-month free YMCA membership (results to be announced onsite) and two round-trip air tickets (results to be announced in November).
On the other hand, in addressing America's unprecedented health crisis, the YMCA will host the "Activate America" demo by the booth. The demo will feature four elements: Zumba, Cardio Kickboxing, Seido Karate and Breakdancing. Participants of and spectators of all ages are welcome.
RAIN OR SHINE. DON'T MISS THE FUN. All activities and give-a-ways are free and will be held at the FUSIA booth. See you there.
