Overview
Valley Metro Rail is the Phoenix metropolitan area’s light-rail system, connecting Downtown Phoenix with Tempe, Mesa, central Phoenix, northwest Phoenix, and the South Central corridor. Major destinations include Arizona State University, Downtown Mesa, Footprint Center, Chase Field, the Phoenix Convention Center, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport through the 44th Street PHX Sky Train station. Riders must purchase or activate a valid fare before boarding.
