Vera Institute of Justice

Vera Institute of Justice is an independent research and policy organization dedicated to transforming the criminal legal and immigration systems. The institute works with government leaders and community organizers to end mass incarceration, close racially disparate prisons, and protect immigrants against detention. Through data analysis, demonstration projects, and policy reform advocacy across the US, Vera helps build just and safe communities.
