Overview
Digital Public Library of America, known as DPLA, is an independent non-profit organization that provides unified digital access to America’s cultural heritage collections. The organization aggregates digitized artifacts, photographs, manuscripts, and rare books from thousands of libraries, archives, and museums across the US into a centralized portal. Through open digital access and library e-book initiatives like the Palace Project, DPLA democratizes educational resources for all learners.
