Overview
Caltrain is a regional commuter railroad connecting San Francisco with communities along the Peninsula and in Silicon Valley, including Millbrae, San Mateo, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and San Jose. Trains depart from the San Francisco Caltrain Station at Fourth and King Streets. Fares are based on travel zones, and passengers using Clipper must tap before boarding and after leaving the train.
