Attended the Annual YMCA Chair’s round table with Elizabeth my sponsor, and I got to understand everything that the Y does for its community. I learned that they take immense pride in their work to strengthen communities and help everyone be their best selves. They provide a place to play, to learn, to be healthy, to eat well, and to give back. They give parents childcare, young adults job training, seniors a way to connect and children a safe place to go. I got to meet and speak to come of the chairs from the various Ys around NYC.
