The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York, representing the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, promotes closer business and cultural links between Hong Kong and the 31 eastern states of the United States. Joanne Chu, the director of HKETO-NY, gave a presentation on the roles and functions of her office, and also provided insights for pursuing a civil service career in the government.
