Overview

VTA Light Rail operates the Blue, Green, and Orange Lines within Santa Clara County. The network connects Downtown San Jose with North San Jose, Milpitas, Mountain View, Campbell, Santa Teresa, Winchester, and major Silicon Valley employment areas. Riders must have a valid fare before boarding and can transfer to eligible VTA bus and light-rail services. Passengers should check current service alerts because construction or maintenance may require temporary replacement buses.
