Overview
Capital Bikeshare is the Washington metropolitan area’s public bike-sharing system, with stations throughout Washington, DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Fairfax County, and neighboring communities. Riders can unlock classic bicycles and electric bicycles using the Capital Bikeshare or Lyft app. Single rides, day passes, monthly memberships, and annual memberships are available. Bicycles should be returned to an official docking station unless the selected e-bike allows an approved out-of-station return.
