Overview
MetroAccess is a shared-ride paratransit service for approved passengers whose disabilities prevent them from independently using Metrorail or Metrobus. Eligibility requires an application and certification process. Trips must generally be reserved in advance and are available within three-quarters of a mile of an operating Metrobus route or Metrorail station. Fares are based on the equivalent fixed-route trip, subject to MetroAccess fare policies.
