Metrorail’s Blue and Yellow Lines provide direct rail service between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington, DC, Arlington, Alexandria, and other parts of the metropolitan region. The airport station connects directly to Terminals 1 and 2 via enclosed pedestrian walkways. Riders pay by tapping a SmarTrip card, contactless bank card, phone, or compatible mobile wallet when entering and exiting the system. Passengers should verify the train’s destination because Blue and Yellow Line services follow different routes after leaving the airport.
