Emma completed her J-1 internship at the New York State Senator John Liu’s district office. Through participating in approved public-sector activities under supervisor guidance, she gained firsthand exposure to legislative operations, constituent services, and policy processes, while developing professional communication skills and a deeper understanding of civic engagement and public service in the US.
