LA Metro Rail is Los Angeles County’s urban rail network, operating the A, B, C, D, E, and K Lines. The system connects Downtown Los Angeles with Long Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Pasadena, East Los Angeles, and communities near Los Angeles International Airport. Riders can pay by tapping a TAP card, contactless bank card, phone, or compatible mobile wallet before boarding. Eligible electronic fares include free transfers for two hours and daily and seven-day fare caps.
