Licensed taxis provide transportation between LAX and destinations throughout Los Angeles and Southern California. Most arriving passengers take the free LAX-it shuttle or walk from Terminal 1 to the LAX-it pickup facility, where official taxis are dispatched. Fares are metered and may include airport fees, flat-rate provisions, tolls, or other authorized charges. Travelers should use only the official taxi queue.
